Ask Chad Rogers Everything You Want To Know

November 18, 2009 by Maria Diaz

Million Dollar Listing’s Chad Rogers takes his job as a reality star very seriously. If you don’t believe me, follow him on Twitter, where he not only responds to positive comments, he personally acknowledges those who complain about him with a tasteful “Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion.” It’s the same care and attention that we see Chad putting into his houses on television (he always brings those flowers to every single open house!) and while I may snark on him, the monotoned voice wonder does have his heart in the right place. If you can’t deal with Twitter, GotCast was kind enough to email me and let me know that Chad will be answering fans questions in a special forum they have created for him starting today.

As far as his real estate career, have we seen Chad sell anything on the show besides that small house to the cute young family? He’s been stuck with the Hollywood producer guy with the Malibu house that he supposedly “stole” from Madison, which is still listed on his website for a very reasonable $3.6 million dollars. If I had money, I’d totally buy it; it’s my favorite house on the show since it’s not a cheesy McMansion. Then again if I had that kind of cash, I wouldn’t be writing this to you either!

(oh—-and I happen to like his hair)

I just couldn’t trust listing my house to somewhere wearing tight pants and i couldn’t make eye contact because his hair is in his way much less waste an hour of my week watching plus my 10 foot big screen is even too small for his ego.

I think that Chad is obviously very successful as are the other agents on this show. He seems either very insecure or immature however in his put downs of other agents. He needs to remember that if he truly has talent he does not need to stoop to putting others down. You don’t build yourself up by putting others down. It would seem to me that he would want to have good working relationships with these other agents since they share the same seller/buyer pool at times.

Chad is the oldest of the three agents but he clearly has a lot of growing up to do. He needs to spend less time on that hair and his namby pamby ways and value Victoria before he drives her away all together.

I just love Million Dollar Listing. It is the best show on TV. All 3 agents are unique in their own way. I don’t want the show to end!

@Beth “He seems either very insecure or immature however in his put downs of other agents”

It’s so overboard sometimes, until you get to know him, you would think he’s joking. I think it has something to do with his dad. Last season or the season before, I remember him having dinner with his parents, the drive over there he went on and on about how important it was for him to please his father. It was like he based his success solely on what his dad thought of him. It was almost sad to watch him try to get his approval, a compliment, a good job son….any positive response. It was not the Chad we see every week.
I had forgot about that. I’m sure that relationship (or lack there of) plays a big part in his need to feel superior.
I would really be surprised is Victoria is still around for the next season, she is competing with a dog now for crying out loud, and I don’t think she’s winning! Run, V, run!
