How did you all feel about last night’s episode of Real Housewives of Orange County?I haven’t seen the full episode yet because I’ve been moving to a different state (excuses, I know) so I don’t have the full magnitude of last night’s shitshow, but I did catch this clip of Vicki and Simon fighting over who has messed up Simon’s marriage more. Gatecrasher reported yesterday that Alex McCord and Simon Van Kempen, the social climbing couple of Real Housewives of New York City may not be returning for the fourth season of that show. Keep in mind, season three hasn’t even aired yet! The source says that Alex is on the chopping block because “viewers don’t have a positive reaction to them, so they’re easily replaceable at this point.” Ouch. Proving they’re savvier than most, Bravo announced a partnership with location-based software Foursquare on Monday. If you don’t know Foursquare, you probably don’t live in San Francisco or New York City and your friends aren’t huge social media addicts. Essentially, it’s a way to “check in” to places you go either by text or by iPhone or Blackberry application. The point is people you know will see you there and maybe come join you. In practice, it can turn into an e-stalking fest or you just end up checking in at the same place as all of your friends. On last night’s Millionaire Matchmaker, Shauna, a millionaress actually turned around and ran away from her dashing date, Mark. Whether or not the show is scripted is anyone’s guess, but her irrational screaming while running through the hotel about how she stayed there all the time and was throwing away a Louis Vuitton (she left her shoe while running away) seemed pretty real to me. Shauna didn’t like Mark because he was too old for her. She goes back to Patti for one more try, but balks when Patti suggests going out with someone without seeing a photo first.
