Bravo Scores 12 Emmy Nomations for Top Chef, Project Runway and My Life On The D-List

July 16, 2009 by Maria Diaz

Bravo better be happy no one has up and sold Top Chef out from under them; because of the classy competitive cooking show, the network has 12 Emmy nominations!

Top Chef is a contender for “Outstanding Reality Series,” “Outstanding Host For A Reality Or Reality-Competition Program” (both Tom Colicchio and Padma Lashkmi are in the running for this award), “Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media” (this one wins my award for most jargon), Outstanding Cinematography, Editing and Directing. Those last three nominations were all for “The Last Supper” episode.

Kathy Griffin’s My Life On The D-List and Project Runway were also nominated for Outstanding Reality Series. The Project Runway finale also made a nomination for best editing & directing. Last, but certainly not least, Kathy Griffin’s special ‘I’ll Cut A Bitch,” was nominated for Best Variety, Music, or Comedy special.

Once they create a category for Best Depiction of Fake Rich People, the housewives will be a shoo-in. Congrats to all the nominees!
