BravoFan Reader Fridays: Danny

After a few weeks off, I am so happy to report that we have a reader who was willing to be interrogated, or interviewed and that Reader Fridays are back!  It’s even cooler because today’s awesome reader is our very first male interview. See, dudes DO watch Bravo of their own free will! I’d like everyone meet Danny.

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself!
I’m a 17-year-old high school senior in Baltimore and I plan to pursue a career in stage management and arts administration.  I love Bravo and my friends on Twitter think I watch too much Bravo. I am fluent in Spanish and in the process of learning French (c’est difficile!) and I hope to live overseas in the future.

2. What is your favorite all time Bravo show, airing or not airing?
Definitely My Life on the D-List.  Team Griffin is hilarious and I love everything about Kathy.  I love how I can watch the first season and her first few specials and still laugh hilariously at every single thing that she says even though I’ve already watched it.  Top Chef also is also near and dear to my heart and I’m not afraid to admit that I have huge crushes on Padma Lakshmi and Gail Simmons.

3. If you could plan a fabulous dinner and only invite 2 housewives from any franchise, who would it be and what would you serve?
NeNe and Bethenny, of course.  I love that Bethenny is motivated, self-made, and strong-willed and what’s not to love about NeNe?  I could sit here for hours and talk about things that I like about NeNe, although I am partial to her facial expressions.  She has a face for just about everything.  And as for the dinner…it would not be particularly fabulous.  I would probably take them somewhere nice downtown (is that cheating?) so that I didn’t have to cook, clean, or be embarrassed when my meal fell flat on its face.

4. Andy Cohen calls, and he wants to give you a time slot for your own show. What is your show going to be about?
My show would definitely be focused on the world of theater production.  It is certainly a crazy industry full of even crazier people (the good kind of crazy) that no network has exploited yet.  Watching all of the actors and designers and choreographers (and, of course, stage managers) run around and yell at each other would surely bring in high ratings.  Of course, you would also see all of the good things that we do, just not as much as the bad stuff since crazy sells!

5. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
I would love for him to yell “Suck it Jesus, this award is my god now!”.  That would be hilariously ironic.
