- Whatever commenter ripped on me for my like of Caroline, check this out: the New York Daily News totally agrees with me and declares the family oriented redhead to be the breakout star of the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Hmmm…..break out star? That’s really stretching it. I think Jacqueline is, she has proven not to be the pushover we all thought she was. I am interested in seeing how she is in the next season, I get the feeling she won’t be taking crap from anyone.
Caroline is not my fav, but the show needs her. They can lose Teresa in a second but not Caroline.
I think Danielle is the breakout star. Every interview they have with the other wives, leads to talking about Danielle (she’s not even there sometimes). If that girl decides not to return, the show is “OVA”.Like it or not she is the show. Caroline-is boring housewife with money, but no class or education. Teresa (immerse in her daughters dream, boring, TLC can provide that). Dina (If she brings in her husband, maybe she’ll be interesting), Jacqueline (Now that she is no longer friends with Danielle, what’s the point). There may not be a second season. Get rid of teresa and jacqueline, bring in some new wives to balance, just like ATL and the OC did.
Oh and Maria, when did New York Daily news became so relevant. I think you’re one of Dina and Caroline eleven siblings…come on tell the truth
Uh, I am not a member of the Manzo family and have never met any of the ladies. I’m sure the many people who read the NY Daily News on a daily basis think it is relevant. The “truth” is that I am a sarcastic blogger, that is all.
I am so amused that people think Maria is paid and/or related to the Manzo family. Maybe someone made a little trip back to the Dominican Republic some 20-odd years ago?
I don’t dislike Danielle, but COME ON. She is mad shady. I don’t think people are necessarily an accurate reflection of youthful indiscretions made over 20 years ago, but at the same time, most youthful indiscretions don’t include drug trafficking, prostitution, and kidnap. To deny that any of that is true, given the records, is insane. I also don’t know how Danielle isn’t concerned enough about her safety not to become so publicly visible, given the caliber of people that she’s pissed off by informing.
But yes, all that craziness makes her good television.
Ok everyone, am I the only one who thinks that Caroline is just plain mean? I don’t want to offend anyone who likes her, but she seems very controlling and evil to me. And what was the bit at the end with her crying? It seemed like she just wanted to make sure that no-one felt any sympathy for Danielle (and I don’t) by throwing out a wild, teary, accusation at the end of the show. I’m not saying that Danielle isn’t crazy (I think she is) but at least she isn’t a wolf in a bright pink dress. Am I wrong?
I love Caroline. I grew up the quailty women just like her. She is a rare gem.
