Jo De La Rosa’s Music Video [Real Housewives of Orange County]
January 6, 2009 by Maria Diaz
Gretchen Rossi was cast as an extra in former housewife Jo De La Rosa’s music video (which we saw on last week’s episode) and it looks like she ended up on the cutting room floor. Here is Jo’s finished product, available on YouTube. It’s not as much of a train wreck as fellow reality star Heidi Montag’s “Higher” video, but it’s getting up there.
The idea of the song is that no one can control her (a theme we know from Jo’s story line on Real Housewives of Orange County when she moved to LA instead of being staying at Slade’s) but it looks like what Jo wants to do is trash a dining room and coyly take bites of cake. I’ll let you give your own analysis of the video:

she’s good/interesting-looking enough that I would watch her dance around in outfits for more three-minute intervals, but that song is so terrible and her voice is so generic, it’s unbearable.
Disasterous. She is medicore at best. She doesn’t have the stage presence to do music and won’t make it. She should find a real job and get that perv Slade out of her life. He is clinging on to any part of her he can. It’s pathetic.
I can’t believe people actually spent money making her video. Did the listen to her sing first? I’m sure it will be her last.
Yesh; I mean where do you start..she is attractive but looks and sounds like a million other girls…She needs to find her own style..physically and musically…then I think she can make it..she has a great personaility..and spunky…thats the latin…yayah =))) so dont give up girlie…
Jo Del’s video looks homemade but it’s still better than her armature voice and performance. You can tell she is just a wannabe based on everything she does in the video.
It’s like she saw professional videos and professional singers and thinks she can pass by simply copying them. is trying to copy them. She’s a poser.
As for her voice? It’s along the lines RHOA Kim and her tardy song. OK, I’ll just say it, she’s terrible. She needs to wake up and stop making a fool out of herself. It’s time for her to focus on serving drinks (I heard she works at a bar now) and keep the ice cubes from melting.
Yay! This one is my favorite!!!
