Kandi Buruss Responds To AJ’s Death In Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion
October 27, 2009 by Maria Diaz
If you thought that Bravo was going to avoid talking about Kandi Burruss’s former fiancee AJ Jewell’s death in this week’s Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, you’d be wrong. In the following heart-breaking clip, Kandi cries while discussing how she’s reacted to his untimely passing. Kim Zolciak sits next to her and comforts her, while the camera pans to Nene and Lisa looking somewhat bored. Nice job, editors.

Kandi is the only person on that show who is a genuine person. She is talented, beautiful and very intelligent. The rest of them are just sad, sorry wannabees.
Her trembly, catching voice… the sound of her barely holding it together in order to answer the question… one tear after another spilling down..
I don’t even watch this show, just sorta keep up here, but the heart just breaks to see and hear her sadness.
I agree that Kandi has by far more class than any of the other housewives. Sheree and Nene are so self-involved it’s sickening. To not seem the least bit interested or empathetic during Kandi’s emotional moment is plain rude. Nene is overweight and Sheree looks like a man and should have more plastic surgery.
