Kara Keough Loves UC Berkeley, until it’s time to transfer [Real Housewives of Orange County]

December 7, 2008 by Maria Diaz

Kara, Jeana Keough’s daughter from Real Housewives of Orange County, is blogging at BravoTV.Com.  Her latest blog post is about how she’s adjusting to life at UC Berkeley. In the first episode of this season, she talks about what a hard time she had, since unlike other Berkeley students, she does not “live in a tree, eat out of a trash can or smoke grass“. karakeough_realhousewivesoforangeofcounty.jpg

Kara has had a change of heart, according to her blog, she’s liking Berkeley a little more now,and like any good Berkeley student, finishes her blog entry with “GO BEARS!”. That is of course, until she transfers to UCLA. She tells us that even though she loves Berkeley, she still applied for a transfer because it’s the only thing she’s wanted to do that she hasn’t been able to achieve.

Part of Kara’s discomfort stems from being bit too politically conservative for super liberal Berkeley.

My advice for her, if you’re reading this, from a former student at a liberal haven of a college: if you want to find other Republicans, hang out at the gym. The rest of us are too busy dumpster diving and listening to obscure records to work out.
