Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Delivers Absolutely Nothing

Man, it must suck to be a Bravo executive right now. All the Real Housewives reunions this year have been over the top crazy, starting with Tamra and Gretchen’s showdown, the 2-hour frontal lobotomy that was the Real Housewives of New York City reunion, and the Big Mystery of What Danielle Did of Real Housewives of New Jersey. After a season full of wig-pulling and screaming matches, they must have had the cops ready to come take at least one of these bitches away in a stretcher.
However, that was not meant to be. Instead, the reunion was subdued and the ladies were extremely reserved. Kim Zolciak kept asking Andy to move on from his pointed questions. She and Nene Leakes announced they moved on from their infamous feud, which no one was truly buying. Given that Nene was pissed at her portrayal on this past season and has been very vocal about it, I wouldn’t be surprised if the two former BFFs mutually decided to just keep their mouths shut at this reunion. Another rumor floating around was that the women were upset that the network recently sold syndication rights to all the housewives franchises and the women did not get a cut of the deal. In retaliation, they decided not to give them any drama at the reunion.
Kim gave the reunion its best moment, when after going on about how she was seeing other people and her and Big Poppa were over, Andy called her out on the fact that Poppa came in for a brief make-out while the cameras had stopped rolling. Also, Kim’s misconception that she is NOT a mistress who gets to go shopping. Um, that is exactly what you are, Kim. Sheree was also asked if she was a lesbian, which she uncomfortably denied, saying she likes men.
Lisa spun her foreclosure story, insisting it was a short sale, but the reality is the bank did auction her house off. She’s right in that they downsized, but wrong in that it was anything but forced. It’s pretty clear Lisa does not live anywhere in orbit of this planet. Kandi Burruss was the only moment that was authentic; crying about AJ, but it made me uncomfortable to watch, so let’s not even go there. Did anyone watch her after wards on Watch What Happens with Andy, saying she almost fell asleep because the reunion was so boring? She also thinks that Nene and Kim came up with the idea to keep their mouths shut about any drama.

I think it’s time for Bravo to do the “EX-housewives and Casualties of the Other Housewives of…..”( ATL, NYC, NJ, OC, etc…) cuz I would love to see was Mrs. Big Poppa, Mr. Danielle, Mr. Whitfield, and non-bio daddies, along with several others who have been affected by the “Real” ones have to say! Now THAT would definitely be a “Watch What Happens…” show! Talk about some serious reunion action……..Hey Bravo execs, did ya get that PITCH??

I know with all those eyes flashing that Nene did was just to try to get back some of her fans. She knows she blew it this season. She has to save face so she is trying to do it now. Well it’s not working with me. Why is Kim going along with it. Kim why are you always letting her bully you. Kim grow up become a women for your children to be respected. Quit allowing someone to choke you and get away with it. It was a real 911 call. If it was a false report we would have heard about it. Kim would have been arrested for filing a false police report and that did not happen. The police must have a copy of the tape proving her call to 911. Kim what is wrong with you. You allow someone to choke you, what if she kills you next time!
I think kim really try to play the good guy this session but she had so much to do with all the drama. I do believe Nene choke Kim, but I do believe Kim play a big part in what happened. We have seen Nene go off and never hit anyone, I do believe that something really crazy had to happen to push Nene over the edge. I still love Nene, but she does have problems.
Nene I am still hoping that someone will reconize that house you went to and said belonged to your family. Yeah right. I bet the reason no one can find the house is because it was rented by Bravo and is maybe even in another state. I am still holding out hope it will come out that you lied again to all of us to make us think, that is your home. That was not a small home for some families. That is a big house to most people. You are still hiding the truth with your thousands of dollars window treatments. Your are a drunk as much as Kim. Your show is either staged 100% or you are the biggest lier on earth. I would never buy your book even though it is at our .99 cent store now here in NC. LOL You are an abuser.

Nene held Sheman when she was pulling on Kims wig. To add to that after that happened Kim went inside the resteraunt and sat down with “Lindsay Lohans daddy”. lol However here came Nene pulling on her again telling her to go back outside. Nene to me is violent. When you hodld another person and someone hits her or tugs on her wig “tO shift it a little bit”, (lol) your just as guilty ask your police station. Once again who really knows if any of this is real. It’s funny they are all huggy, huggy again. Nene was the holder and Sheman did the dirty work. They all are if you ask me an insult to real, intellegant women.

The reunion seemed as slow as some of the episodes. It was a real long season with a LOT of boring filler. Didn’t hear anything about Lisa trying to get her other two kids on the show or anything about Sheree’s adult daughter. Were the ladies toning it down out of respect for Kandi? Catfights would be petty in light of AJ’s death.
Hate that NeNe keeps saying “I’m the child in this situation.” You are an ADULT acting like a child. Show a little appreciate for the guy that was your father figure although he knew he probably wasn’t your father.
Iheartbravo, you are probably right. maybe that was the discussion before the show between Nene and Kim. If you are right, they for the first time showed some maturity.
Nene, What a joke, the man who has loved you and raised you is hurt by your search for deadbeat dad and you think HE should be the one to approach you? What a fool, you owe the man who raised you an apology and more respect than that.
Kim, Am I the only one who was thoroughly confused by her lies? She starts out the show saying she and big poppa are over and done but on a break Andy reveals that poppa was there smooching her??? That doesn’t sound over to me. Sounds like another one of her lies.
Kim is just boring and predictable. Sheree is her usual mess. The only one I love is Kandi, love that girl. Go Kandi!
Hey Cindy, you are as delusional as Kim. You cant tell me that you’ve never been in a situation where you wanted to choke someone? Then your not human. Since you act like you know the law, let me inform you on something, (and you can check this out with your local police office(r))…if your in a heated argument and a person invades your personal space and you feel threatened, then you have the right to get them out of your space with force, as long as its not accessive or deadly force. In other words, if I push your neck or push you down, kick you etc, its acceptable and no judge would charge you with assault. If they were in a heated exchange and hands were in each others faces and someone strikes you, you can do what you need to do. And I’m sure they where both in one anothers faces and when Kim slapped NeNe’s hand (which she admitted) then NeNe did better than I would have done, cause she would have gotten clocked upside the head. And the keep it fair, I would have slapped NeNe’s hand as well, if it were me in the situation. You know the deal. And just because you have been abused, does not mean you dont have the right to get angry or want to hit someone….grow up.

I know everyone feels for Kandi and because she is always crying and she’s been thru alot, and trust me, my heart goes out to her. But dont you think its strange that she can allow Kim to be around her child, allow Kim to take her daughter without her being around (where was big papa) and allowing her daughter to be around Kim’s delusional kids, allow Kim to call her mother “Mom”, and she’s ok with Big Papa being at her house and she has nothing to say but good things about that poor excuse of a father (and by the way Kim, his kids are not all grown and out of the house)…doesnt that make her way of thinking messed up as well????? Hello…birds over feather flock…..you know the rest people. Dont pretend to have high standards and be on high moral ground when you condone this behavior…I call that a HYPOCRITE!
Kim couldn’t have slapped Nene’s hand if Nene hadn’t been jamming it in Kim’s face. Nene may be from Athens so she ain’t ghetto, but she sure is country trash. Despite what internet “lawyers” want to tell you, it’s not acceptable to start choking someone for slapping your hand out of their face. Keep your pointing hand and your ghetto-ass bobbing head out of people’s personal spaces. I know that “people” like Nene believe they are justified in whatever they do because “that be keepin’ it reh-al” or whatever, but they are not. Poor Nene, you can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still pig, ya know?
But hey keep it coming because the trash is so damn funny. Bravo really has outdone itself with it’s line up of trash-with-money from everywhere in the country.
Jae, yes I can say that I have never wanted to hurt another person for any reason. NEVER! I don’t even like to kill a bug. lol You seam to be so angry. I know you are a Nene lover. Everyone that post Nene love always has alot of anger in their post. I do know the law, my husband is CMPD. I know that if a person is in your space you still had better not throw the first blow. Space has nothing to do with going to jail and being prosecuted for assault. You can be in someones space all day and not go to jail unless you give a verbal threat, that is valid as to being carried out. MY husband is standing over me right now to make sure I word this correctly by the way. You can get a warrant for a verbal threat, but once again you can not put your hands on the other person. You would then be guilty of assault. Also what I said earlier was that Kim called 911 her report must have been valid or she could have been charged with makeing a false police report which is just as bad as the assalt. meaning the police can take you to court, one big reason my husband said is to keep people from making false reports. If you know you can get jail time and a possible fine you are likely not to give a false police report. That is a very serious matter. I take this show really as a joke, as I stated above. I do not beleive everything I see on this show. However that police report was not a joke. My husband said that Kim would have been told she has a certain amout of time in which she can still go after the person she claimed choked her. Even then it would have to be settled in a court of law and not just pronounced guilty. My husband says these things happen everyday, all day long and manhy times is never brought to trial. Many of the people that have been abused never want to press charges. Which he said is good because these types of things would just tie up the courts. He did also tell me just then that chocking someone can be considered to be an act of attempted murder. Kim must not feel as though it was that serious because if she did I think that is not something to play with. Anyway I didn’t mean to ruffle your feathers. As I said in the post above I think all these ladies have serious problems. They are no one I would ever be friends with, that is for certain.
First, Jae, thanks for the shout-I have a tendency to be, shall we say “opinionated” so I think it’s safe to say I won’t shut up anytime soon (ha). I didn’t know Kandi was letting her daughter hang out with Daddy Warbucks–I mean big poppa, too! Wow, I’ve already voiced my feelings on this guy (he doesn’t deserve to be called a “MAN”!) being involved in the girls’ lives. I do not, and will not ever think that’s a good thing for them to be around. It’s just inappropriate. And I can’t help wondering why Kim thinks it’s okay to have a nude photo of herself hanging on the wall for the kids and country to see! It’s worse than the billboard ShuRay had painted of herself–and that’s vulgar, too–they can see that thing from the space shuttle! How do people get so caught up in themselves?
Cindy, in most jurisdictions, to actually charge someone with “verbal assault”, there would need to be a third party witness who would attest to hearing said threat. If there was another party present, since Kim AND Nene are known to “use” anyone and everyone they can, I think one of them would have pulled the witness into this mess a long time ago. I agree with your husband, it would be an unbearable burden on the judicial system if every 911 call actually resulted in charges being filed. On the other hand, the people who burden the system for frivolous squabbles or spats only make it more difficult to protect the REAL victims of violent crimes. I don’t know what the statute of limitations is on assault in GA but, given that the burden of proof is always on the accuser in our judicial system, I seriously doubt either of the idiots involved in this alleged incident could–or would meet that burden in criminal OR civil court. Regardless, given the two involved in the “she-said-she-did-oh-no-i-didn’t” BS have serious credibility issues, I doubt both their stories. I wouldn’t represent either of them!
And Cindy–I wouldn’t spend 99 of my hard-earned pennies on Nene’s “memoirs” either! In fact, if I get one for Christmas, I’ll trade it for a nasty fruitcake! It’s not even worth RE-gifting! (I don’t hate anybody that much!!)
You all seem to really know everything about these ladies, so can anyone pleeeeeeeeeeease tell us who Big Poppa really is? I’m dying to know.
Becky, “rumor has it”, his name is Lee Najjar–and, ironically, his wife’s name is also Kim (she is a pretty brunette–and, apparently doesn’t need to spend $12K a month on throw-away hair). There’s another post from Maria about him listing his $25 Million mansion for sale–looks like he’s not using Lisa’s agency, though.
There are lots of other articles and pictures out there if ya search with their names. Hope that prevents your untimely demise.

It was dry… And the boredom seemed deliberate… like, they wanted to deliberately ruin the the reunion show. Like, they were trying to get back at BravoTV for whatever reasons? I sincerely do want them to grow, evolve as better women; but you’d want it see it, authentically. They looked like they were holding their breath & mad that they couldn’t allow their catty-salty-flag to fly; it was painful to view. Sheree is disingenuous, self-absorbed, surface & talentless (admit it, you’ve seen all of her fashion designs b4–nothing cutting edge), and the same wry attributes apply to Lisa “me-too” Wu, as well. That energy could still be read in their demeanor at the reunion setting.
The hi-lights were when Dwight came in (they need to truly give him his own show)& the performances & when Kandi spoke…Kandi is so genuine a spirit. She’s like “a butterfly amongst gnats” among them. And yes, I did add a ’s’ after the word ‘performance’ above. Kim can’t sing or dance, but she’s still entertaining as all get-out! Of course, we know that Kandi is a true-talent.
I love when sneaky-ass Lisa called herself ‘reading’ Dwight & he let her know…”..you didn’t have to invite me to this one.” Let her know you were less-than-pressed to be in the audience of her tired-ass fashion show! U betta Werk!, Dwight. Nene asked for your opinion and you gave it… She gonna come back w/some tired-ass, “…if somebody ask you to jump off a bridge…?” Like, Huh? Make sense when you talk, witch! D, this is what you should have added: “Lisa, dear, Lisa, when you put your wares out to the public–expect an opinion. And it’s not going to always be a positive opinion, lean on..No, grow thicker-skin, then, lean on Logic!”
Nene , like millions of others, has abandonment issues. That’s the real reasons behind all of her issues w/Kim, Kandi & anyone else. REad between the lines when she’s speaking… you’ll hear it. She gave mention to how she thinks Kandi didn’t like her (rejection); being dismissed from the “Tardy for the Party” track (more rejection). After the way she’s treated Kim, Kim would have been a fool to do a song w/her…Kim would be a fool to continue to mess w/any of them (except Kandi) on any level ever again. In the book of TAO it states that no one can really hurt you–they can only say or do something that’ll stimulate the hurt that’s already within you. Something Kim did to Nene (whether real or imagined) stimulated rejection (note: her parental rejection. This isn’t unique to just NeNe… millions of us suffer from this, be it subconscious or conscious–self-assess, heal, & stop blaming others! As comedian David A. Arnold would say, “Gitchosh*T Together!”
