Real Housewives of D.C. Already Producing Rumors
June 11, 2009 by Maria Diaz
Our nation’s capital is so hot right now. Fresh off the heels of the Real Housewives of DC announcement, MTV has announced that the next season of The Real World will also be filmed in the District. As for the D.C housewives, there’s been a lot of rumors over who Bravo will cast for the Real Housewives of D.C. including Air America’s Ana Marie Cox (pictured below). The Washington Post had a few names for women who had auditioned already including advice columnist Andrea Rodgers (aka “Ask Miss A”) and Susanna Quinn (wife of attorney Jack Quinn)
Politics Daily has a few more names, mostly wives of ambasaddors and congressmen. Emily Miller asks Bravo to please ask Washington “insiders” before casting if they want an authentic look at the life of a powerful D.C. housewife and not the usual group of climbers the series attracts.
