(Season 1, Episode 5)

I was practically weeping for Rachel Zoe tonight! Everyone I know juggles work and family and stress, and Rachel is no exception. Only she has all these stars and celebrities counting on her, and her stress level is through the roof.

In tonight’s episode, she’s getting ready for a couple of awards shows, including the Oscars, dressing such stars as Molly Sims and Demi Moore. It’s so cool to see the behind-the-scenes stuff when Molly comes over to Rachel’s studio and picks out clothes. This was earlier this year, and I remember seeing Molly in some of the celeb mags wearing that shimmery little number she picked out tonight. Too cute.

More after the jump…

Ok, so Rachel is completely stressed out, and even sees a doctor about her stomach issues. No ulcer or acid reflux, but her stomach woes are stress-related. Been there, done that. I so relate.

On top of all that, Rachel gets a call that her Uncle Jerry passed away, and she has to choose between an important photo shoot and flying back east for the funeral.

I feel for ya, Babe. It’s tough juggling a career — even one you love and feel passionate about — with everything else in your life. But at least she and Rodger had a nice anniversary dinner. She was originally thinking a big party with 200 of their closest friends, but I’m glad he talked her out of it. Rachel seriously needs some yoga or meditation or something.

I can’t believe the next episode is the season finale!

Reader Question: Do you think Rachel is too demanding of Rodger? I mean, he has his own life, too. It doesn’t ALL revolve around her.
